About Us!
Hello and welcome! Our names are Daniel & Rebecca and we launched Golden K9 Home Boarding in 2021. As dog enthusiasts and parents to two golden retriever girls, Nala & Molly, being involved with and taking care of dogs has been a passion of ours for many years! Our aim is to create a home from home experience for your dog as well as a stress and worry free experience for you.
To us, a dog is more than just a pet, they are part of the family and that is exactly how they will be treated within our home. We know it can be an anxious time when leaving your dog for work or other daily commitments, as well as planning weekend breaks and holidays while you try to find someone who will love and care for your dog the way you do, so we hope you find comfort in following our journey through our Instagram posts & stories!

Our Services
As knowledgeable and experienced dog owners, we offer a full-range of services designed to give your dog the best care possible. Depending on their needs, we can tailor our service list to make sure they get all the attention they deserve. We can offer to pick up your dog for an additional £5 up to a 5 mile radius or £10 up to a 10 mile radius. For drop off as well as pick up, price is doubled. £20 non-refundable deposits will be required for overnight stays, prior to your pups stay. An introductory meet and greet session can be arranged free of charge, (30 min), further sessions will be charged at £10 per meet (30 min)
We will provide you daily pup-dates of our adventures via WhatsApp as well as uploading photos to our Instagram and Facebook accounts, @GoldenK9HomeBoarding
Day Care
Don’t feel guilty about leaving your dog alone. Our day-care service gives your pup maximum care, even when you can’t be there.

From 8am - 6pm (10 hours maximum).
Includes a morning and afternoon walk.
£15 for one dog, additional dog from same household, £12

Half day available at £10 for one dog, additional dog from same household, £8.
Overnight Stays
From comfy sofas to soft blankets, home boarding offers your dog to stay the night as if it were its own home.

Overnight stay - (Sunday - Thursday)
Includes morning and evening walks.
£25 for one dog, additional dog from same household, £20. (Fri - Sat £35)
PM drop off Noon collection. Additional time will be charged at day care rates

One Week Stay
They'll be so at home, one night just won't be enough for them!

7 nights stay - Evening drop and Noon pick up
Includes morning and evening walks.
£150 for one dog, additional dog from same household, £120.
Drop & Pick times can be altered at an extra cost.
Weekend Package
Book those last minute weekend getaways, without worrying about your dog, we've got you covered!

2 night stay (Friday PM - Sunday Noon)
Includes morning and evenings walks.
£75 for one dog, additional dog from same household, £60.
Dog Walking (1 hour)
Walks while you work!

Solo walk £20.
Price includes pick up within 3 mile radius of SA6 5RA.
Puppy Package
Getting a brand new puppy is one of the most exciting things in life! But it can come with some anxiety and concern, especially when it comes to going to work. With our puppy package, we can offer a pop-in service to your home, to check on your pup and provide them with a toilet break and some vital human interaction, and of course some play!

One visit per day - £30 includes,
15 minute walk or (if unable) garden supervision
Feeding (if required) and fresh water
a pup-date photo via WhatsApp
Cleaning up any mess
Visit will last approximately 30 minutes. (Longer visits charged at an hourly rate of £15)
Must be within a 5 mile radius of SA6 5RA
The 'I Do' Package
We'd all love our pets to be included on our special day, however the stresses of family & friends, looking the part and having a good time can weigh heavy.
We can help make this dream a reality, with our 'I Do' package.
For only £300, we include,
A pre-wedding meeting to discuss your plans for the day.
Collect your dog on the morning of your big day.
Make sure your dog is looking sharp with a bath and blow dry.
Be present at the ceremony, reception and available for photos.
Feed, walk and entertain your dog before and after the ceremony.
Return your dog home or to a relative/friend in the evening.
Typically this would be a 3 hour day, extra hours would be an additional £50 per hour.
All travel expenses covered in price, (within a 20 mile radius of Swansea).
Additional charge of £100 per extra dog (up to 3 dogs)

FAQs
Do you have a licence and are you insured?
Yes. We are fully licenced by Swansea Council and insured to look after and transport your dog. Both can be shown on meet and greet. We also have a clear DBS check.
Where do you stand on vaccinations and neutering?
You will need to prove that your dog has received its kennel cough jab at least 7 days prior to their stay and vaccinations must be up to date, vaccination card provided before the stay.
We will not be able to accept any male dogs that have not been neutered.
Worming and flea treatments must also be up to date.
What do I need to supply?
You know your dog best, so if they have a favourite blanket or a specific bed, then please bring it! The more comfort they're used to, the better.
You will need to supply all food and any medication your dog may be on, as well as the collar and lead / harness your dog is used to walking on.
Where will you exercise my dog?
If you have any specific requirements for older or disabled dogs, we will tailor our service to meet their needs.
We live on the mountain therefore your dog will be exercised in fields, mountain tops and river walks with car trips to Swansea beach also. We can do on short lead, long lead or off lead, depending what you'd rather.
Does my dog need to be good with other dogs and children?
Yes to both. Your dog(s) will be living alongside two Golden Retrievers as well as children over 6 years old.
